The Southwest Regional Community of Practice is live in Texas and Oklahoma with three networks: TXServes – North Texas, TXServes – San Antonio and Oklahoma Veteran Connections. Together these three coordinated networks of over 150+ providers work together to improve service delivery for veterans, service members and their families though coordinated approaches to care.
First, The Alamo Area Council of Governments in San Antonio sponsors TXServes – San Antonio and serves as the coordinating provider—servicing one of the largest military and veteran communities in the United States.
Next, in Dallas, United Way of Tarrant County is the AmericaServes partner and coordinating provider for TXServes – North Texas. This network, currently the newest member of the AmericaServes community, launched in November 2018.
TXServes – Rio Grande Valley will launch July 2019 in partnership with Tropical Texas Behavioral Health. The network’s service region consists of but is not limited to the following counties: Hidalgo, Cameron, Willacy, Starr, and others. This is our third network in the state of Texas.
Lastly, Oklahoma Veteran Connections, commissioned by the Community Service Council in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is the state’s first coordinated referral networks and one of AmericaServes’ newest affiliates.
