Unite US recently launched a new feature that allows for a client in immediate need to get connected to the right service faster than ever. Here’s how it works: Coordination Centers, in the time of an immediate client need, can send a referral for that single need (i.e. homelessness) to multiple providers simultaneously.

When the first provider of the group accepts the referral, the others are automatically recalled, and all providers are notified that another organization is taking care of it. As a result, clients in immediate need can be quickly connected to service without overburdening each provider or the Coordination Center trying one at a time.
