No Data, No Story

Is there a client need or demographic that your community would like to understand and support a little better? Many fields in the software are not required, in order to enable you to make referrals and serve clients quickly. However, there are things you can do to capture the information that you care about most.
You can…

  • Request that Unite US make certain fields required
  • Commit as a network to entering the data about specific needs or key client demographics
  • Circle back to add data about a client or a service request, even after a referral has been made (version 3 only)

Adding more data may also expedite the Coordination Center’s ability to connect clients with the appropriate provider by reducing the follow-up required. So, if you want your reports and dashboards to tell the client story – and improve service quality in the process – everybody in the network has to maintain the essential data.
